West Holloway lunch: half an avocado, mozzarella & tomato sandwich on toasted ciabatta (lightly buttered, with salt & pepper). Toasted perfectly so that the cheese melted a bit but still had substance.
Homemade July 4 Breakfast Sandwich!
2 almond meal pancakes
1 scrambled egg
1.5 slices cooked uncured bacon
1 teaspoon maple syrup
Pete’s (of Ivan & Alyosha) masterfully made double-decker PB&J. Especially on the road, nothing beats it. Comfort.
On tour through Ann Arbor (playing The Ark) last week, I had the pleasure of introducing Ivan & Alyosha to my favorite deli in all the land: Zingerman’s. I had garlicky pickles & half of a pastrami & swiss on Jewish rye. TDF (to die for)
